Swarm of bees-By Ava.

I was sitting under a tree with Issy, KC, Hannah, and Addy. We were talking about fitness.

Suddenly a big swarm of bees flew around like hungry birds. KC and I were screaming our heads off we ran and ran and we called out

“BEES! BEES!” All around us, was te sound of  ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ .

Room 1, 3 and 4 were screaming. Tt was chaos and everybody was running and yelling. We all ran into our classrooms. The bees were flying wildly like a tornado. Everybody was thanking KC and I for warning them and we were terrified. Mrs May called Dana but he didn't pick up and then she rang Megan. She was going to call Dana. Everyone was loud and a little bit mad.

Then Dana turned up and we watched him smoke the bees. It was a fun experiment. Issy said they might be hornets bees. We were sitting and standing on the desks and chairs. It was AMAZING to watch!!!

SNOW

As i'm walking in to the cold ice grass my feet a frozen like ice. I see snow men getting built and people are throwing snow balls . There is snow dripping from the trees. I see a blanket of white snow. The snow is bright like a shooting star. The sun is blazing on the snow and it is melting the snow. When we are in the class room It is like a new world inside!!!

Where in the World is Mrs May?

Mrs May is at the zoo. She is walking around and “saying i'm going take a photo for room 4” they are going to love it. When I get back they are going to love me not Mr Howell me me me HAHAHAHAHA. People are saying we  Mrs May and some people are saying we don't want Mrs May we want Mr Howell. Im saying I like both of them. She is looking around and in her sight there is the gorilla yaaaaaa help me please help help. She faints on the ground and someone called the ambulance. And she called us and she said i'm going to be ok don't you worry about me. There was a knock on the door Mrs May appeared yay Mrs May not Mrs May again Some of us crying and some of us are very angry. And that was that we were all happy again and Mrs May had a Broken foot we were happy at once but not because she has a broken foot because she is back and our teacher again but she is not very happy to be back!!!

MEETING MR WILLY WONKA!!!

As I take my first step out of the cart my heart is pounding into happiness, I feel so hot. My face is burning and turning red. Willy Wonka has a big huge hat on the top of his head. He looks different than other people like me. He holds a huge gold chocolate stick in his pale hand, it is full of colours of the rainbow and candy canes on the front and back. As I'm in the factory i feel AWESOME. The chocolate is making me hungry. His crazy hair is orange and brown and ginger.I feel great that i got a gold ticket to Mr Willy Wonka’s tour on his factory it was AWESOME!!!

WILD FIRE!

I heard a fire crackling noise. When I got up I walk to the broken door and felt it. When I touched the doorknob it was hot. And I just didn't know what to do. I just remembered that I have to call fire.I  called FIRE so loud.Some people

did not wake up because some people were having a deep sleep. I walk slowly out of my door Into my sister's room. She came in to Mum and Dad's room with me. We all got out by the mailbox and called one one one very slowly. Once I got off the phone they were here. They put on loads of water. We had to get another house right by my grandparents. It was very sad to have to get another house but I love It.

Tree planting at Waitahuna

On Tuesday Room7 and Room 4 and some parents went on a trip to Waitahuna. We did flax planting and electric fishing. Room 4 did the planting first and room 7 did electric fishing. First a man called Glenn told us what to do with our plants. We started that, and I planted four because we had to leave some for Room 7 otherwise they would not have any to plant. Then we did electric fishing. There were two boys called Angus and Keiran who taught us some stuff about electric fishing and they caught two little fish and a big eel. I felt it and it was so slimy and not nice to touch as well. I had an AWESOME DAY!!!

This week Room 4 has been doing art in the class. We had to make our eyes like a rugby ball and we had to make our body start down. You can't do your face and hair over the border.The colours have to be big and bold.

Swimming at school

We have been swimming at school and doing lengths in the big pool. I am learning how to freestyle and backstroke at school. Only Mum comes with me but Dad comes with me if he is not at work. Me and my Dad do lots of lengths in the little pool. Dad throws some sinking toys in the pool then I go down and pick it up from the bottom. There are round ones or long ones, some of the long one float. Then we play with the flutter bored with kicking. I love swimming with dad and at school.
 

                                                  

Athletics Day

Last Friday it was athletics day. My favorite event was long jump because I like landing in the pit which is filled with sawdust. My next favorite is high jump because I land on the green mat, it is fun. I jump from the right side and I jumped 60cm. I loved it, it was AWESOME!!! The last thing was the relay, I was in it for Read and we came first. I came first in 3 other events so I won 4 events altogether. I came 1st, 2nd or 3rd in all of my events but I came 4th in 2. That was the most fun day ever !!!
